FAMILY

2011 is here!  Brad and I had a wonderful time having all of the family at our home for Christmas.  

Our Sammy and Betty had no lack of attention while they were all here.  Sammy was especially excited to see Santa.  

As was Titus...who smiled and tried to pull off the soft white beard.  Betty thought she was a cute little present and she 

curled up nice and sound within the depths of the presents. :)

We spent the majority of our time laughing, playing Mario Kart, laughing at each other playing Mario Kart, and eating yummy food.  (including the world’s largest Reese’s Peanut Butter cup).  

Us sisters created delicious lemon cupcakes (tradition!).

Titus was absolutely the center of attention...we all love that little boy so much.  He is a joy.  I mean, who couldn’t smile when he does.  Sooooo adorable.  

I love my family so very much. And I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and the best in-laws ever.  God has blessed us!

Too bad that now I am having withdrawals from the house being full of people...but I am not alone. I have my amazing husband and cat and dog.  :)

To top it all off, Brad and I got a new jam cookbook from Grandma.  And we made our first attempt at marmalade.  After a three day process, we successfully made cranberry-orange and mandarin orange marmalades.  Yummy.  The dream of Murphy Lodge Preserves has begun.
